Course Description:
Everyone has “stuff” and if it’s not managed clutter can result. It can be difficult to function and enjoy one’s home when surrounded by clutter. In addition to causing safety risks, clutter can also impact one’s mental health and wellbeing. This course is intended for anyone living with clutter who wants to learn more about it and strategies to manage it. Being able to manage one’s home environment may reduce stress and anxiety symptoms as well as improve low mood.
Learning Goals:
- Explore contributors to clutter and reasons for keeping
- Discuss acquiring possessions
- Consider getting ready to declutter, and how to go about doing this
- Review ways to organize and manage our papers
- Share maintenance strategies
