Course Description:
Have you ever wondered why you respond differently to closeness, conflict, rejection, or uncertainty in your relationships? Attachment theory offers one way to understand the patterns we develop in how we connect with others.

This course will allow participants to explore the different attachment patterns, including secure, anxious, avoidant, and fearful-avoidant attachment. Through discussion, reflection, and interactive activities, we will explore how attachment can influence communication, emotional responses, boundaries, conflict, and relationships.

Participants will also learn practical strategies for recognizing personal triggers, managing emotional responses, communicating needs, and developing healthier relationship patterns. The course will explore how attachment patterns can change over time and how we can move toward greater security, self-awareness, and connection.

This is an educational and self-reflective course, not a diagnostic or therapeutic program. Participants are encouraged to explore what resonates with their own experiences and take away strategies that support their personal recovery and well-being.
Course Materials: Handouts and/or presentation slides will be provided electronically. Pen and paper are suggested.
